Hwasun-gun ‘Hwasun Red Byeokbae Badminton Festival’ completed

[화순=아시아경제 호남취재본부 김혁준 기자] The ‘6th Hwasun Red Badminton Festival’ was held with great success from the 15th to the 16th at Hanium Culture and Sports Center Indoor Gymnasium and Yongdae Gymnasium.

According to the county on the 17th, the tournament hosted by the Hwasun-gun Badminton Association was attended by 800 teams and 1,800 badminton clubs from 22 cities and counties in Jeollanam-do.

The matches were divided into rookie divisions by age, men’s and women’s doubles, and mixed doubles, with the preliminary round being a league match and the final being a tournament.

At the opening ceremony held at the Yongdae Gymnasium on the 15th, six badminton fans who contributed to the support of the tournament and the expansion of the badminton base were awarded a plaque of merit.

A military official said, “I am happy that this tournament is a place where club members from 22 cities and counties in Jeollanam-do can show off their skills they have developed so far.” said.
