Hand of God: Ball Could Bring $2.8M – Soccer

London – After his jersey at the legendary 1986 World Cup quarter-finals in Mexico, the football with which Diego Maradona once scored Argentina’s 2-1 win over England is now going under the hammer. One of the goals was the infamous fist-scored goal that later went down in history as the “Hand of God” goal. Now the then Tunisian referee Ali Bin Nasser is auctioning off the ball. Proceeds of at least 2.8 million US dollars are expected.
