For group A of the Champions League, Napoli, with a goal from Giovanni Simeone, thrashed Ajax as a visitor, with a 6-1 win. El Cholito converted the sixth for the Italian team (ST 36m) that is the leader with an ideal score.
The former River and Banfield converted his second goal in the Champions League, the tournament he longed to play from his first steps as a footballer. The first was converted against Liverpool, in his debut in the highest level competition for European teams.
Ajax, with defender Lisandro Magallán and midfielder Lucas Ocampos as substitutes, suffered a tough defeat that makes it difficult for them to qualify.
In the same area, Liverpool of England defeated Rangers of Scotland 2-0, at Anfield, and finished second, three behind Napoli.
