“I know you are all surprised by today’s announcement,” Primo said in the statement. “I have sought help to deal with a previous trauma I suffered and will now use this time to focus more intensely on my mental health treatment. I hope to be able to speak on these issues in the future to help others who have suffered in a similar way. I appreciate that I can maintain my privacy at this point.”
