Hopefully Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann (35) doesn’t take this joke too seriously!
In the run-up to the league summit of Bayern against BVB in Dortmund (6.30 p.m., Sky and in the BILD live ticker), the coach of the record champions has to endure a nasty radio gag.
In the radio comedy show “Samstags-Crasher” on the station “Bayern 3” there was a special competition: Anyone who answers the call with “Hello, this is Nagelsmann if I’m loose (losing, editor’s note) today my turn”, wins.
A clear allusion to the rather mixed season of the record champions: Before the blast game against Dortmund, Bayern are only in third place with two points behind the top duo Union and Freiburg.
Although the Munich team was able to get back on track with a 4-0 win against Leverkusen on the last matchday, there are still four games without a win (three draws and one bankruptcy) in the season statistics – and that’s before the ninth matchday.

Whether Julian Nagelsmann will fly against Dortmund on Saturday is impossible. Nevertheless, the coach knows that it will be much more difficult against BVB than in the last few games.
However, Nagelsmann will have to do without an important star!
Thomas Müller (33) and Joshua Kimmich (27) both tested positive for Corona after the Leverkusen game last Friday and had to be in quarantine for five days. Both have been free tested since Friday – but only one is an option for the cracker in Dortmund.
Trainer Julian Nagelsmann (35) on Friday afternoon: “Basically, both have been tested. But Thomas still has a few problems, cold symptoms. That’s why he won’t train today and won’t be in the squad on Saturday. Everything is fine with Josh, he no longer has any symptoms, feels nothing at all. All values are great, we’ll wait and see the training, then we’ll decide. I’ll have to wait and see how he feels in training.”
