In Panotla, the mayor Felicitas Vázquez Islas organized a series of activities to celebrate the national holidays, from a basketball tournament, a boxing tournament and different cultural activities that were enjoyed by the citizens.
In the case of the friendly basketball tournament, the president of Panotla, Felicitas Vázquez Islas, presented awards to the participating teams, including the Universidad Anáhuac Sur of Mexico City, Luciérnagas de Tlaxcala, Recicladores de la Ciudad de México, Snakes Panotla, Union of CDMX, UAT and Road Runners Panotla.
This tournament was held in the recent and rehabilitated “Bicentenario” basketball court and it was from 12 noon, culminating at 3:00 p.m., where these teams gave the best show in burst sport, which was also coordinated by the Association of Basketball of Tlaxcala.
It should be noted that these players premiered the fields that already have a new image, with the Rehabilitation that the City Council undertook as part of the mayor’s commitment in terms of public works and with which the inhabitants of Panotla have been satisfied.
In this sense, Felicitas Vázquez Islas reported that this Bicentennial Unit already needed a remodeling, since details are still missing, but that it is 80 percent complete, in the sports space a new image is already projected on its courts, painting, lighting , toilets and planters.
Well, in the end, he pointed out that the inhabitants of Panotla deserve quality sports venues and thus also receive visitors and tourism with pride.
