Primera Division: Lewandowski: Moving to Barcelona gave me strength

World footballer Robert Lewandowski has spoken positively about his start at FC Barcelona.

“The move to Barcelona gave me strength, boosted my self-esteem, I feel proud and fulfilled. I knew that I should decide the outcome of games and I wasn’t afraid of this role,” said the German record champions’ former star striker FC Bayern Munich before the matches of the Polish national team in the Nations League.

He didn’t expect his start in Spain to be so smooth and the fans at Camp Nou singing songs about him, Lewandowski continued. All of this made him feel like he had been playing for Barcelona much longer than he actually had.
