LOS ANGELES — Cam Akers was limited to just 12 plays on the field in the Los Angeles Rams’ season opener. Despite his low usage, his head coach Sean McVay wants to see his player “maximize his opportunities”.
“No matter who you talk to, you want to see guys doing the little things the right way, fighting with and without the ball,” McVay said. McVay said he knows what Akers is “capable of,” and because of that, he’s confident Akers will bounce back.
