This weekend the Balearic Judo Championship was held in Menorca for the promising categories (youngest and youngest), with excellent results for the Pitiusos. The Ibizan expedition, made up of 25 competitors from the island, returned with an important haul consisting of 8 gold, 6 silver and 11 bronze, thus taking the podium in the majority of weights.
The first classified in the event held in Menorca and, in the end, new champions of the Balearic Islands, were Lucía Camacho, José Ribas, Marc Bonet, Bassma El ahrar, Martina Jiménez, Eric Ferrer, Julia Briones and Hugo Riera.
