NBA 2K23: Beste Dunk-Stile

Many players looking at dunk packs will pick the one that looks the coolest. For many players in NBA 2K23 this will suffice as long as they have reduced the difficulty to a minimum. But expectations and veterans know this isn’t the best competitive-level move.

Especially this year, as NBA 2K23 introduced a single dunk pack to replace the exciting but out of control dunk pack choices of recent years. Which players choose is up to them, but they should choose the ones that suit their style and protect the ball, not the ones that look like they can win a competition.

Dunks for everyone

  • Elite Basket Rim Pulls
  • Athletic depends one
  • Depends on one
  • Pro Under Basket Rim Pulls
  • Back scratch rim hangs

If that looks like a lot of rim hangers this year, that’s no coincidence. Players can now control their landing point after performing a two-handed slam, giving them an advantage when landing. This transition should be a lot smoother for those fully invested in the best Dunker build.

If you have a choice to go off a foot or two, try one. The requirements are usually a few extra attributes, but it’s worth it. Being able to jump off one foot for the slam is quicker and gives players a longer reach from which to wind up their jam.

Under 6’5″

  • And Morant
  • Tracy McGrady
  • Zach Lavine

As of Season 1, there are no unique dunks specific to players under 6ft 5″ and only packages specific to players under 6ft 10″. There may be more coming soon for the shorter point guards with incredible physiques, but for now there’s more to consider.

These three should be given serious consideration for smaller players as they are all fast slashers with two-handed rim moves. Morant is perhaps the quickest, while McGrady adds some strength for players who don’t mind a little touch on the edge. Zach Lavine has a variety of slams for those who also work on interior design.

6’5″ bis 6’10“

  • Draymond Green
  • Tracy McGrady
  • And Morant

Draymond Green was already a fan favorite. Now with the two-handed rimhanger boost, he’ll be hard to beat for almost any build’s animations. He has a great mix of driving fast and catching up strongly up close.

To get the most effect out of those dunk packs, especially at this altitude range, you’ll want to use the best playmaker moves to fend off defenders. If they bite one way, juke the other way, then finish with a hearty jam. You don’t even need to be completely fooled, these animations are strong enough to take over on the rack.

6’10” and above

  • Darryl Dawkins
  • Karl-Anthony-Städte
  • Big Man hangs on one
  • Draymond Green
  • Dwight Howard

Big men have better picks than their peers, likely due to the fact that they face baseline jams and dunks in the post in addition to the usual driving slams. Set up a center right and you can score from all of these positions.

The diversity of Darryl Dawkins and Karl-Anthony Towns is nice. Those who hit more often may prefer Draymond Green, while post-scorers will mostly enjoy Dwight Howard’s added scoring animations.

NBA 2K23 is available now for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
