Kamara complains again about racist insults! UEFA is already investigating the case

A heated match in Podgorica on Monday, in which the home team received two red and five yellow cards, ended in a verbal altercation between Kamara and several Montenegro players, during which one (unnamed) allegedly used a racist slur. Television footage shows Scottish Glasgow Rangers players being dragged off the pitch by teammates and members of the Finnish implementation team.

The 26-year-old Kamara is well known to the domestic public for the incident from March 2021, when he accused Ondřej Kúdela of a racist insult in the round of 16 of the Europa League. He then physically attacked the stopper of Slavia Prague and the Czech national team in the bowels of the stadium. Although Kúdela denied any verbal attack with racist undertones, he was banned by UEFA for ten matches, while Kamara was banned for three for physical attack. In addition, the Czech defender was threatened with criminal prosecution in Scotland, which was stopped this spring. Kúdela then withdrew his appeal to the CAS against the penalty from UEFA.

The Finns won the match in Podgorica 2-0 after goals from Oliver Antman and Benjamin Källman and took second place in Group B3. The Montenegrins have already had to play one match without spectators in the stands after their fans racially abused England players in a European Championship qualifier in 2019.
