Jarrett Culver signs dual deal with the Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks have closed the incorporation of Jarrett Culver through a dual contract, according to an official statement shared by the franchise itself.

The guard, 23, completed the 2021-22 season with the Memphis Grizzlies jersey, with whom he averaged 3.5 points and 1.3 rebounds in 9.1 minutes per night. This summer he was released after the Tennessee franchise did not exercise his team option for the 2022-23 season.

The Hawks recently released one of their two dual contracts by opting out of Chaundee Brown’s deal. At first it was thought that Tyson Etienne and Chris Silva could compete for this position during the ‘training camp’. Finally, this has gone to the hands of Culver.

Thus, the Georgia franchise currently has thirteen guaranteed contracts, two less than the cap established by the league, and its two dual agreements are occupied.
