Italy leaves the individual tournament in the recurvo – OA Sport

The Archery World Cup continues unabated. The third stage of Paris gets underway with the individual tournament regarding the recurvo and the mixed team competition for the Olympic specialty and for the compound.

Tatiana Andreoli was the best of the ‘Bel Paese’, out in the round of 16 for women after losing 2 to 6 against Chia-Mao Peng (Chinese Taipei). Similar situation for Alessandro Paoliout against Chih-Chun Tang, while the performance of Mauro Nespoli. The latter has in fact pushed to the second round before bowing for 4 to 6 against the Moldovan Dan Olaru.

A colorless day for Italy also in the mixed team tournament. In the recurvo Mauro Nespoli / Tatiana Andreoli left the scene after losing 1 to 5 against the Germans Katharina Bauer/Felix Weiser, while the meeting in the compound was much more fought.

Marcella Tonioli/Elia Fregnan, directly to the second round given the result of the qualification, they gave up for 154 to 156 on the hosts Sophie Dodemont / Jean Philippe Boulch. The Azzurri tried to reverse the tenence in the final, a failed mission.
