Almost all of Europe’s top clubs were desperate for the Norwegian international striker, but it was the Premier League champions who ended up getting him.
The Cityzens managed to sign the 22-year-old by activating his release clause at Borussia Dortmund this summer for £51 million.

City are still eyeing success in Europe by winning their first Champions League, but Guardiola is reluctant to put that on his new signing.
“I can’t figure it out,” Pep replied when asked if Haaland could lead City to more achievements in Europe.
Haaland is the first player to score 25 goals in his first 20 appearances in the Champions League.
