Čamane/Bērziņa covered the distance in one minute and 46.94 seconds, 3.24 seconds behind the winners Hungarians Jankas Rugonfalvi-Kisas and Angelinas Segedi.
Slovakians Reka Bugara and Bianka Sidova (+0.09) took the second place, the Italian duo Sara del Grata/Jada Rossetti (+0.53) took the third place.
It has already been reported that on Friday Bērziņa won seventh place in the 200-meter race.
Kārlis Dumpis and Juris Alsbergs were the last to finish in the 500 meter B final of the U-23 kayaking championship, taking 18th place overall.
The Latvian national team is represented in Szeged by 14 athletes, as well as coaches Igo Ažuks and Andriana Bogdanova.
The competition will end on September 4.
