BILD met the star on the toilet |

Urinal interview with the Nowitzki buddy

There are more ordinary locations for an interview…

The Cologne Arena houses a place where VIP guests and journalists can bump into each other – a toilet in the basement.

The BILD reporter was using it when suddenly Jason Kidd (49) appeared next to him.

The Dallas Mavericks coach, who became champion in 2011 as a player with Dirk Nowitzki (44), had to relieve himself during the Lithuania-France game.

The urinal interview.

BILD: Welcome to Cologne! How do you like it here?

Kidd: Thank you. I am very, very happy here. I like this city. And the people are great.”

BILD: You were at the jersey ceremony for Dirk Nowitzki on Thursday…

Kidd: Yes, it was very moving. We already had a similar ceremony in Dallas. That was great too. Dirk really deserves it. He’s a great guy and a close friend. I was impressed by how the audience celebrated him.”

He says no more. After washing his hands, hurries back to his seat directly at the edge of the field.

On Sunday morning, Kidd, who had come to Cologne with Mavericks owner Mark Cuban (64), flew back to the United States.

Before the ceremony on Thursday, the two had celebrated with Dirk and Jessica Nowitzki in a Cologne brewery.

Kidd also took the time to visit the city center around the cathedral. There he ran into fans several times who took selfies with him.

PS: For understandable reasons, we have to owe the documentary photo of the interview.
