A new QB, a healthy Christian McCaffrey and a youthful defense, Carolina wins the W in Week 1.
The pick: Carolina Panthers -1.5 @ -110
Arguably the boldest prediction of the three, but you guessed it, I’m taking the Giants to cover against the Titans. As of this writing, the spread is set at +5.5, which seems short to me considering the gap between these two teams, but I’m willing to take it. The Titans could make a run at the AFC this year, but a new Giants team with a lot to prove could be very hit or miss. If you’re feeling optimistic, take the Giants moneyline at +210, but I’ll take the gap.
