Wout van Aert drove a criterium in Roosendaal in the Netherlands on Monday evening.
On the program was not only a stage for men and women, but also a couples time trial. Jumbo Visma’s two green jerseys rode together and won.
“Riding with Marianne was unique. She is a pleasant and strong company,” Van Aert told the Dutch newspaper De Gelderlander.
Marianne Vos also clearly enjoyed the event, even though the very tough Tour de France Femmes had only just ended. “I won’t experience this often anymore,” she said.
