Why was the Comteville estate chosen for the events of the City of Dreux?

Finished the sports hall and the place of the fairground. Long live the Château de Comteville and its shady site. The City of Dreux is changing the formula for its summer holidays. We forget the summer village (long called Le Campus) and we discover the Estivales in Comteville which open this Monday, August 8th.

The summer village allowed Drouais who do not go on vacation, to enjoy entertainment and joyful moments with the family.

Everyone has their place: children, families, young people

The philosophy of the Estivales in Comteville is the same: to offer leisure to those who stay in town in August.

Vernouillet had a successful summer at Les Grands-Près

But, this time, the Drouais (and the others) will really have the impression of no longer being in town. Although the site is located only a few meters from the last buildings of the Oriels district, it gives the feeling of being very far from the urban tumult. It offers a feeling of escape that did not exist at the fairground.

The strong heat of this summer reinforces the City of Dreux in the choice of Comteville: there is always shade there, the vegetation brings a little freshness. It will be more comfortable for children and families than the bitumen of the fairground square.

How to get there ? A bus from the City of Dreux will pick up users to get to Comteville. North plateau: Hameaux de Paul-Bert (in front of the Proximum house): 1:40 p.m., Bâtes (Leclerc stop): 1:50 p.m., Sainte-Ève (in front of the Proximum house): 1:55 p.m. South plateau: Downtown: 2 p.m., Rochelles social center: 2:10 p.m. Return scheduled from 5:30 p.m.

A site conducive to relaxation

Comtevillle is also a political choice: the site is rarely open to the general public. These holidays are an opportunity for the Drouais to reclaim it.

The activities will be very varied. The youth, sport, museum and heritage, contemporary art, parenting, library and childhood-leisure services are mobilized for these Estivales in Comteville.

The City also relies on the Raid Aventure which usually manages the site and which has real expertise in entertainment and leisure.
