Despus of those marked by the world pandemic the cause of coronavirus, the US Open, to be held in New York from August 29 to September 11, returns to normal. That affects the prize pool.
And it is that for the first time in history, more than 60 million dollars (59 million euros) will be distributed among the participants.
Only the individual champion, male and female, deposit a check for 2,600,000 dollars (2,563,769 euros). Half will go to the coffers of the finalist. For being one of the 128 participants, the fixed price is 80,000 dollars (78,885 euros).
