Summer sports activities end in Suresnes

A village for children and adolescents set up by the UCPA ends this weekend in Suresnes after two weeks of sports activities. As well as the sports activities set up by the city.

It’s almost the end of a sporting summer in Suresnes (Hauts-de-Seine). The National Union of Outdoor Sports Centers (UCPA) has launched an ephemeral sports village on the city’s Place de la Paix to allow children and teenagers who cannot go on vacation to have fun despite everything. Started on August 6, this sports village located in the Alto-Séquanaise town ends on Sunday, August 21.

The young people who take part in this event can take advantage of free aquatic activities such as the “paddle boat” and ventriglisse as well as other leisure activities such as trampoline and table tennis in particular. In addition, an acrobatic course is present for young budding adventurers. For the youngest, a miniblock is in place. In addition, other lesser-known but equally surprising sporting disciplines are still on the programme, such as fencing on an inflatable city stadium, “rugby flag” or even field hockey. The ephemeral village, meanwhile, is open every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Sunday.

Other activities end this Friday

The City of Suresnes has also set up sports activities for young people. These began on July 11 at the Raguidelles sports center and end this Friday. The sports educators mandated by the City of Suresnes set up various sports practices. Archery, table tennis, badminton and even hockey sessions were organized from Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.

Throughout the summer, young Suresnois were able to take advantage of unusual or little-known sporting activities. Whether aquatic or terrestrial, children and teenagers must have had fun throughout the summer period.
