Jumbo-Visma satisfied after losing the red jersey: “If we wanted to defend the jersey, we would certainly have done that”
Rein Taaramäe has won the third stage of the Vuelta and with that the 34-year-old rider from Estonia also immediately takes over the red jersey from Primoz Roglic. Team Jumbo-Visma let the leading group, which Taaramäe was part of, go and had no intention of defending the red jersey tooth and nail.
