Rangnick whispers make Tuchel reject Cristiano Ronaldo

London

Chelsea was rumored to be signing Cristiano Ronaldo. But manager Thomas Tuchel was reluctant to do so, because of a whisper from Ralf Rangnick!

Rumors of Cristiano Ronaldo wanting to leave Manchester United have not died down. Until September 1, when the summer transfer window is still open, anything can happen. Will CR7 stay at Old Trafford or really leave?

Reported from MirrorIn the last two months, Cristiano Ronaldo has been rumored to want to be recruited by top European clubs (but all have failed). One of them is Chelsea.

That’s because, Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes was caught meeting with Chelsea boss, Todd Boehly. Moreover, the Blues need a new striker after releasing Romelu Lukaku to Inter on a season-long loan, after selling Timo Werner.

Boehly as the new Chelsea boss, reportedly had an interest in Ronaldo. Ronaldo’s arrival to Stamford Bridge, is considered to also make the club harvest money.

Unfortunately, this was rejected by Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel. A report says, Tuchel refused Chelsea to buy Cristiano Ronaldo because of Ralf Rangnick!

Tuchel and Rangnick are good friends, both also from Germany. Tuchel is known to have spoken directly with Rangnick about Ronaldo, moreover Rangnick was also the temporary manager of the Red Devils.

Reportedly, Rangnick did not advise Tuchel to recruit Ronaldo. Rangnick is sure that Ronaldo will not match Tuchel’s style of play plus his ego.

Ralf Rangnick once revealed what it was like to coach Cristiano Ronaldo. Rangnick admits Ronaldo is a great goal machine, but not good at doing it pressing.

“Ronaldo scores a lot of goals, but he’s not a monster you can count on to put pressure on opponents. But, I don’t blame him at all because the whole team is responsible for the final result,” he explained.
