Disputed on good ground (3.2 on the penetrometer), the fifth of the day was set at the Deauville racecourse (Calvados). This big handicap pitted sixteen competitors, all three years old, against each other on the straight course of 1,400 m. Mounted patiently, the representative of Corinne Barande Barbe waited patiently during the course before swooping down on her opponents with a lot of resources. She never found any opposition, establishing herself as a very good filly. Her partner Tony Piccone was full of praise for her: “She really impressed me. I was above the rest the whole course even though I tried to wait as long as possible. She accelerated very hard. She has passed a real milestone and the 1,400m are perfect for her. »

Concluding two and a half lengths from the winner, Little Pedro (n°4) held his game very well even if he could not do anything against the winner.
