The Italian Para Archery Championships took place over the weekend in Lanciano (Chieti) and the athletes of the Polisportiva Disabili Vallecamonica, trained by Elio Imbres in Pavia, participated in the competition.
The experience of the team of president Gigliola Frassa was positive, taking home an Italian title, two silver medals and three bronzes.
These are the results in detail: Italian team title in W1 for the duo Daila Dameno and Stefania Giacometti in team W1; in W1 the athletes of the Polisportiva Disabili Valcamonica Daila Dameno and Stefania Giacometti respectively won silver and bronze in the class standings with 543 and 441 points, beaten by the young blue Asia Pellizzari (Arcieri del Castello); always in the W1 Open Daila Dameno won the silver beaten in the final 120-115 again by the young blue Asia Pellizzari (Arcieri del Castello); in third place Stefania Giacometti; in the Open Men’s Compound third place for Francesco Lebrino who beat Kelmend Cekaj 140 to 134.
