Hamburg (SID) – The German national basketball player Satou Sabally was eliminated with the Dallas Wings in the quarter-finals of the women’s professional league WNBA. The Texans lost in the decisive Game 3 to the Connecticut Sun by 58:73. Last year, Sabally (24) was eliminated with Dallas in the first play-off round. In 2020, the Berliner had missed the championship round with the Wings.
Sabally was on the field for almost 20 minutes in Game 3 against Connecticut and had six points and a rebound. After an ankle injury, the New York-born Berliner only returned to the field at the start of the play-offs. In game 1 of the quarter-final series (68:93) she contributed ten points, in the second game (89:79) five.
