MONTREAL – Rafael Nadal has canceled the Masters 1000 tournament in Montreal next week. The reason is the abdominal muscle injury that forced him to give up before the Wimbledon semifinals. The 22-time major winner skips the US Open preparatory tournament. “I’ve been training for some time without serving and I started the service four days ago. Yesterday I felt slight pains in my stomach and today they were still here,” said Nadal.
