On his debut at the famous Camp Nou, Lewandowski opened the scoring after just three minutes. After Pedri’s pass, the 33-year-old footballer went around the goalkeeper and sent the ball into the net from a sharp angle. Two minutes later, he returned Pedri’s final pass and created a scoring chance for the same teammate in the 19th minute.
Ousmane Dembélé took care of Barcelona’s next three goals in the tenth minute and after the break Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Frenkie de Jong. Lewandowski was replaced by Memphis Depay after an hour of play.
Barcelona will start the new Spanish league season on Saturday with a home match against Vallecano.
