13.53 Bagnaia struggled to find the square due to little feeling with the front, on the contrary Quartararo impressed on the race pace, especially with worn tires.

13.50 The start will be among the decisive aspects and we will see how Bagnaia from the second row will be able to manage the situation, not to mention Quartararo who will have to serve a long lap penalty.

13.47 The teams could opt for a hard rear tire on a track that degrades less than last year.

13.44 Immediately out of the top ten positions the Italians Enea Bastianini and Francesco Bagnaia, unable to go under the 2-minute wall.

13.41 Good signs at Aprilia for Aleix Espargarò, 6th at 667 thousandths from his teammate despite the pain in his foot from yesterday’s terrible crash, while Jorge Martin, Miguel Oliveira, Brad Binder and Takaaki Nakagami complete the top 10.

13.38 Best of the Italians Marco Bezzecchi with the Ducati of Team Mooney VR46 in fourth position at 341 thousandths from the top, while the leader of the championship Fabio Quartararo closed with the fifth time at 663 thousandths from the head, however, mounting tires now at the end of his life.

13.35 Maverick Vinale very fast in the warm-up, lapping in 1’59 ″ 227, trimming a couple of tenths to the Suzuki of Alex Rins and Joan Mir in the short race pace simulation carried out this morning.

13.32 The Spaniard was unanimously considered a top rider before sinking into a real crisis due to which he stormily broke off his relationship with Yamaha, then binding himself to Aprilia.

13.29 We are talking about an incredibly centaur who arrived 10 times second without having won yet! An unprecedented situation that today could be erased forever. Instead, a statement by Viñales would be the resurrection of a great talent.

13.26 A possible success of Zarco would be the aforementioned consecration. The transalpine will start from pole position and will try to shake off the label of “greatest placed in the history of the premier class”.

13.23 If this were to occur, then the performance of the tires could change and the Piedmontese will have the opportunity to aspire to something more than a placement. On paper, the favorites are others, namely Johann Zarco and Maverick Viñales.

13.20 If he were to do it, it would only be necessary to bow in front of a sensational performance. Francesco Bagnaia, on the other hand, hopes for the heat. So far Pecco has struggled to push his Ducati to the limit, but forecasters predict a rise in temperatures for today.

13.17 Aleix Espargarò will hardly be able to take advantage of it, since after the violent fall in FP4 he will have to run stuffed with painkillers, the effect of which is however destined to diminish lap after lap. Getting to the finish line will already be a challenge, and if he were to finish in the top five we would be faced with a real miracle.

13.14 The 23-year-old transalpine has all the credentials to win anyway, but the dynamics of the sanction could make him lose several positions and we know well how much Yamaha struggles to overtake competitors with the most powerful engine.

13.11 Under normal conditions, the big favorite for success would have been Fabio Quartararo. Nonetheless, the Frenchman will be forced to serve a long lap penalty in the initial stages of the GP, fiscally imposed on him for the facts of Assen.

13.08 The race could be the harbinger of a consecration or a resurrection, especially since the usual protagonists all have, for one reason or another, some thorn in their side.

Hello and welcome back to LIVE LIVE on Sunday of the British GP, the twelfth round of the 2022 MotoGP World Championship. On the track of Silverstone the drivers and teams will work hard to get ready for today’s race.

Ducati is called to run after the Frenchman fabio quartararo. The Yamaha transalpine leads the ranks of the general classification with 172 points ahead of the Spaniard by 21 points Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia) and 58 the other Frenchman johann zarco (Ducati Pramac). In fourth and fifth position there are respectively Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati official) to 66 points ed Enea Bastianini (Ducati Gresini Racing) to 67 points.

The two Italian centaurs, therefore, will have to reverse the trend of a first part of the season marked by inconstancy. The Red, as a bike, proved to be there, while the riders did not respond as they should have. On the other hand, Quartararo was able to put together all the pieces of the puzzle with great quality and make the most of an M1 that is proving realistically competitive only with him in the saddle.

OA Sport offers you the LIVE LIVE on Sunday of the British GP, the twelfth round of the 2022 MotoGP World Championship: news in real time and constant updates. The warm-up starts at 10.40 am in Italy, while the start of the race will start at 2.00 pm in Italy. Good fun!
