A former Pistoia Basket bids farewell to the basketball played. On Tuesday Tre’Shaun Fletcher he gave his final farewell to basketball through a message spread on his social channels. Fletcher passed by the parts of PalaCarrara in the second half of the 2020/21 season, after starting the championship with the shirt of Fortitudo Bologna. These are his words of greeting:

About a year ago I was in the best shape of my life coming off one of my best season’s as a Professional. At the time it felt like I had my whole career ahead of me and I felt like I had so much left in the tank after 3 knee surgeries But it still felt like something was missing. I wasn’ t happy. I did not feel the peace that I had been looking for through this basketball journey. So I felt the only option was to self sabotage. In doing so I hurt a lot of good people that had nothing to do with the situation at hand. In this process I seen what was really important and that is all I am focused on. now that I have found my peace & I am not going to give that up for anything……….. with that being said
I would like to say I am retiring from the game of basketball to chase my new dream of becoming a NBA skills trainer & owning my own business! LETS GOOO
To the game of basketball thank you! No way I am the man I am today without you. To all the people who helped me along the way thank you
