As part of the summer in Carcassonne, the City through its sports department and in partnership with the Carcassonne associations (USC XV, ASC Athletics, Les Archers de la Cité, FAC, ASPTT, Triathlon Club Carcassonnais, the HBCC) sets up until August 27, free sports activities for all, at Lac de la Cavayère, but also on a new site: the Païchérou leisure area on the banks of the Aude.
On the programme: beach volleyball, archery, beach football, beach tennis, introduction to canoeing, paddle tennis and Nordic walking. Free registration on site at the Ville de Carcassonne chalet. Open in the morning from 9 a.m. and in the afternoon from 4 p.m.
Mondays
At La Cavayère: beach rugby supervised by USC or Kayac from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., beach volleyball and beach soccer supervised by FAC from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
At Païcherou: cycling initiation for children from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., kayaking from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Tuesdays
At La Cavayère: kayaking or orienteering from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., archery supervised by the City Archers from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
At Païcherou: padel tennis from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., heritage discovery orienteering race from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Wednesdays
At La Cavayère: kayaking, multi-activity rally and triathlon supervised by TCC, archery supervised by the Archers de la Cité from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., beach soccer supervised by the FAC from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
At Païcherou: Nordic walking from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., kayaking from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursdays
At La Cavayère: kayaking, Nordic walking supervised by the athletics ASC from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., archery supervised by the City Archers from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
At Païcherou: padel tennis from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., cycling initiation for children from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Fridays
At La Cavayère: kayaking, beach tennis by the ASPTT, handball by HBCCP from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., handball by HBCC from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
