The German basketball champion Alba Berlin opens the new season in the basketball league.
The Berliners will receive the Veolia Towers Hamburg in the Mercedes-Benz Arena on September 28, as the basketball Bundesliga announced on Friday. On the following regular first matchday weekend, coach Israel Gonzalez’s team will be guests at Brose Bamberg on October 2nd.
The league will pause for two national team windows on November 7-15 and February 20-28. The main round is expected to end on May 7th, after which the playoffs will begin.
