The Councilor for Sports, Antonio Sibina, presented this Thursday the Final Four of the 1st Division that this year will be played in Alhama de Murcia and that will have the VClub Alhama & Totana among the contenders for the championship and possible promotion to the EBA League. The other three classified teams are R. Murcia Baloncesto, Maquinaria Tormás Guillén la Salud Archena and Campillo Palmera Molina Basket.
Along with Sibina this morning were the first vice president of the Basketball Federation of the Region of Murcia, Andrés Francés, and José Pagán representing CB Alhama.
The games will be played this Saturday and Sunday afternoon. And Sibina has asked for the support of the fans to support VClub Alhama & Totana.
For his part, José Pagán has pointed out that this is a historic event since the VClub has never been in the position of being eligible for promotion to the EBA.
The first match will be played by VClub Alhama & Totana against the favorite, Real Murcia Baloncesto, at 7:00 p.m. And then, at 9:00 p.m., it will be the turn of Maquinarias Tomás Guillén la Salud Archena and Campillo Palmera Molina Basket.
On Sunday the match for third and fourth place will be at 6:30 p.m. and the final at 8:30 p.m.
