The eyes in England are on Manchester United, which plays against Brighton & Hove Albion. At the club from Manchester can Lisandro Martinez in Christian Eriksen debut while trainer Erik ten Hag on the bench for his first Premier League game. RB Leipzig opens its season in the German Bundesliga. A former Ajax youth player is under contract at the club from the city of the same name: Solomon Bonnah. The new Premier League season kicked off on Saturday afternoon with a former Ajax player in action: Kenny Tete. With Fulham he took on Liverpool. The defender came into action and immediately managed to take a good point with his team; it became 2-2. Furthermore, it took Aston Villa from Anwar El Ghazi in Bertrand Traore up against Bournemouth. The former Ajax players were not in the match selection, while their team lost 2-0. Pascal Struijk won the home game against West Ham United with Leeds United by winning 2-1. In addition, Sven Botman his debut with Newcastle United. In the stoppage time of the home game against Nottingham Forest, the defender came in. His team started the competition with a 2-0 victory.
Also the Tottenham Hotspur of Davinson Sanchez started the new season well, winning 4-1 against Southampton. The defender with a past in Amsterdam, however, remained on the bench for the entire game.
