Badminton. Anya Tatranova leaves Morteau and leaves for new horizons

Her choice is made Anya Tatranova leaves her favorite club, Badminton Val de Morteau, to take over the management of the Saint-Maur-des-Fossés club, in the Paris region. The choice of the Franc-Comtoise fell on this club which will evolve in N1 from the next season for various reasons: “Firstly because from Bordeaux (Editor’s note: where she trains during the week) it is easily accessible . It’s also a young team (like Morteau) that I know well, because their coach has already coached me in competition, and he accompanies his players to international tournaments to see our progress”. She will also find her mixed doubles partner Enogat Roy there.

By opting for a friendly club which has just obtained its access to N1, the Franc-Comtoise therefore let reason speak rather than ambition “Of course, I had proposals from Top 12 clubs. practical was not there and I didn’t want too big a change from Morteau either, so I preferred a club that has this family side. The ex-Mortuacienne admits, however, leaving her training club with a twinge of heart. “I have to do this to start my life as a young adult and professional badminton player. But I am very grateful for the support they have always given me, whether financially or emotionally speaking, and I have no doubt that the next generations of the BVM will be able to take over”.

Anya knows something about it since her brother Arthur, resident of the BVM, already French champion in doubles and vice champion in singles this year, has just obtained his first selection for the French team for the European U15 Championships, in September in Ibiza. The succession is therefore there.
