The plenary session of the City Council of As Pontes de García Rodríguez (A Coruña) unanimously approved, during an extraordinary session held yesterday, investments worth €4.6 million to launch new services and execute different projects that respond to the demands made from the associative fabric of the town.
In this way, you will create a logistics center, With an investment of 401,555 euros, the lighting and interior conditioning of the municipal marketa project valued at 48,279 euros, as well as the burial and channeling of the power line of this municipal infrastructure for a value of 30,250 euros.
Pavement repairs will also be carried out in the Rosalia Castro Streeton the avenue de ferrol as well as in the A Coruña avenueactions valued at more than 48,000 euros, the improvement of the road and accessibility in the Sergio Rivera Chao Street (42,350 euros), the agglomeration of the accesses to the Os Alimpadoiros cemetery (48,400 euros), the replacement of the wearing course in the calle Rita Rivera Chao (30,250), and the repair of the pavement in the Calle Vilaboy Pajon, from the roundabout of the ducks to the bridge of A Perfolla (48,387 euros). It is also planned to undertake the replacement of the pavement on the sidewalk of the Calle Ourense (43,560 euros), the replacement of sidewalk in the Santiago Apostle Street (18,150 euros) as well as the improvement of the evacuation of rainwater in the area of the Ferrol avenue car park (42.350.euros).
The plenary session of the City Council also approved an investment of 48,400 euros for the construction of sidewalks in the Field Regoan item of 41,140 euros to carry out the expansion and improvement works of the children’s park on the street March 8 and nearly 50,000 euros to improve the wearing course of the Antonio Machado Street and 47,778 euros for the work to improve accessibility and paving on the inner road of the Os Alimpadoiros cemetery.
Among the approved investments is also the supply channel replacement project and the road improvement of the las vegas avenue (96,800 euros) and performances at the facilities
sports such as conditioning pavilion of the IES A Magdalena (150,000 euros) or the replacement of the O Chamoselo-Cal da Avelaíña multi-sport track (30.000 euros).
Works will also be carried out to improve the soil of the municipal pavilion gym (40,000 euros), the construction of a covered grandstand in the artificial grass field with capacity for 150 people (97,913 euros), the creation of a covered area and warehouse for practicing archery (210,945 euros) and the rehabilitation of the sports court of the Town of Las Vegas (48.293 euros).
In addition, different actions had been carried out in the lake, among which are the rehabilitation and improvement of the Memory Path (46,701 euros), the beautification of the garbage containers as well as the creation of a calisthenics park and the execution of a motorcycle parking (18,274 euros) buoys will also be acquired, the shadow fence and a lifeguard tower, elements valued at 8,000 euros.
The investments approved during the plenary session will allow the execution of works to improve sanitation in the road of Pontoibo (66,550 euros), the installation of a multi-sports area on the plot attached to AA.VV de Bermui (96,800 euros), the improvement of the wearing course on the track to tatters as well as the replacement works of the deteriorated pavement in Ribadeume and Bermui (46,733 euros), the works to replace and improve the pavements on the path of the Riversidefacing the reservoir, the repair of the ditch in the Pontoibo and Marraxón roads (39,264 euros) as well as clearing of rural roads (65,000 euros).
In the chapter of serviceshighlights the management contract of the Ecoschool (45,000 euros), the start-up of a responsible consumption workshopan information campaign on composting (40,000 euros), revitalization activities for the childhood and youthvarious cultural activities for Christmas (75,000 euros) as well as to carry out new interventions of the project of urban art As Pontes Enpezas (20,000 euros) and various sporting events such as the annual gala of the Galician Sailing Federation or an international proof of cyclocross (34.000 euros)
