“A few clashes” but “a lot of respect”: all the families of urban sliding at the Meudon skatepark

Thrasher t-shirt on the back, baggy pants, not to mention the essential bucket hat… The look of the regulars leaves little room for doubt: we are indeed in a skatepark, more precisely that of the Marcel-Bec sports complex in Meudon (Hauts -de-Seine). In this structure opened a year ago, skateboards, rollerblades, BMX and scooters coexist, more or less in peace. “There are always some clashes between the different practices, it’s normal, we’re a bit rivals,” laughs Jules, an 18-year-old skateboarder.
