Tech billionaire looks UNRECOGNIZABLE in 30-year-old Little League baseball snap

TECH billionaire Mark Zuckerberg has revealed a cute photo of himself as a young kid 30 years ago.

Young Zuck is pictured wearing a red baseball cap and jersey, long before he even imagined Facebook.

Mark, 38, had the Little League baseball card personally made in 1992 and gave it to his favorite coach, Allie Tarantino, of Elmwood Camp in New York.

It even features a first signature from the Facebook founder, after his camp counselor playfully asked him to sign him as a proper baseball star.

Weighing in at 48 pounds, the eight-year-old infielder hit a .920 batting average.

“Mark was one of my campers and one day he came over with this card and gave it to me – I was amazed he was there,” Tarantino explained.

“I had never seen a Little League baseball card before, so I asked him to sign it for me.

“I never could have guessed what amazing things he would do!

“I’ve been telling this story for quite a while, about how I came to know Mark as a camper, and it still amazes people that this map actually exists.

“But I feel like my part of the story is over, so because of Mark’s importance in the tech world and the fact that he’s one of the most famous people on the planet, I think that it’s a good time to sell this card and put it on the market. »

Zuck shared the snap to celebrate the expansion of his social network’s collectible digital NFTs.

NFTs – or non-fungible tokens – are a hot new tradable item taking the internet by storm.

Unique digital tokens will now be supported in more than 100 countries on Instagram as the tech giant attempts to follow the trend.

In honor of expanding digital collectible NFTs to 100 more countries on Instagram and launching new integrations with Coinbase and Dapper, I’m sharing my upcoming Little League NFT baseball card, which someone recently found and sent me,” Zuckerberg says.

Tarantino kept the card in his basement, not knowing that Zuckerberg would one day become a billionaire

What is an NFT?

Here is a simple guide…

  • NFTs are a hot new tradable item taking the internet by storm
  • The letters NFT stand for “non-fungible token”
  • If something is “fungible”, it can be exchanged for an identical consideration
  • For example, Bitcoin is technically fungible – you can trade one for the other and have the same
  • Physical money is also fungible – you can exchange one £10 note for another
  • An NFT is totally unique digital token with no copy
  • Like Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, NFTs work using a blockchain
  • A blockchain is a public register of transactions recorded on the Internet – and is completely unalterable
  • NFTs on the blockchain can be traded like Bitcoin, but they are unique by design
  • This gives them special value, as each NFT is individual and unique
  • You can turn almost any type of data into NFT
  • People are selling digital artwork, songs and even tweets as NFTs
  • More elaborate NFT sales include virtual trainers/sneakers and even a virtual house
  • Importantly, NFTs are not physical – so if you buy an NFT item, you only own part of the blockchain and NOT a physical item
