With the circumstance that two of those silvers have corresponded to World Cups, one male and one female, a success that was also unprecedented.
Of the 7 medals, 4 correspond to the men’s teams and the other three to the women’s, in the four categories that have participated in official competition: U20, U18, U17 and U16.
In the Men’s U16 European Championship, which will conclude this Saturday in Skopje (Macedonia), the team led by Ángel González Jareño will face Lithuania in the final for gold, which has defeated Greece in the other semifinal (77-61).
