William and Kate spend a ‘suffering’ quarter-final day at Wimbledon

They started early on the center court of the tournament considered the “tennis cathedral”, watching the game between Novak Djokovicsix-time British grand slam champion, and Italian Janik Sinner, one of the great promises of tennis, 20 years old. It was an unmissable match not only because of the category of Djokovicbut also because of the expectation that the young Italian had generated.

The dukes, who attended the game without their children, George, Charlotte and Louis were on the edge of the seat in a close game from which the Serbian emerged victorious in five sets after having asked for the first two.

Wimbledon Tennis Championships, Day 9, The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, London, UK - 05 Jul 2022
Britain’s Cameron Norrie was down two sets in the game.

But the best was yet to begin, because the dukes came with the intention of seeing their compatriot Cameron Norriewho would play on field 1 of the All England Club against the Belgian David Goffin.

Like the first game, it also went all five sets, so it was hours before William y Kate could relax after witnessing how Norrie26 years old, beat Goffin and he kept a ticket for the semifinals that will be played next Thursday.
