Next Wednesday, July 27, there is a call shareholders’ meeting on the Costa Brava to approve the transfer and name change of the club. The Alsina-Tarragó family will sell the Girona entity to a group of businessmen from Badalona, after reaching an agreement for the transfer that is already official on the website of the Catalan Federation. The link between both clubs appears under the name of “CF Badalona Futur SAD” with three Costa Brava teams for the 2022-23 season: the amateur A of Second RFEF, the youth A of Preferent and the cadet A of Preferent. The football field that belongs to them is the Municipal Stadium of Badalona. The link between Badalona and the Costa Brava will be made official in the coming days.
