Iberia Renews Commitment to Spanish Basketball Federation Until 2018

The Spanish airline Iberia has renewed its commitment to the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB) for the next four years, until 2018, in a relationship that has been maintained between the two institutions uninterruptedly since 2014.

The CEO and president of Iberia, Marco Sansavini, and the president of the Spanish Basketball Federation, Elisa Aguilar, re-elected to occupy the position as she is the only candidate, signed the agreement this Monday at the Iberia Space in Madrid so that it is maintained as the official airline of the FEB and the Spanish national teams, both the senior men’s and women’s teams, as well as the lower categories.

Elisa Aguilar assured her “excitement” about the agreement obtained with a company that “is an emblem of our country” and praised the great work they do for the federative body.

“For us, your support in the international movements of our teams is essential, facilitating the logistics of the expedition,” he stated.

For his part, Marco Sansavini, president of Iberia, stressed that Iberia is “one of the longest sponsors of the FEB” and that they are “delighted” to continue doing so and vindicated their commitment to Spanish sport.

“It is the best example of our firm commitment to Spanish sport and the Talent on Board project, with which Iberia values ​​its purpose of generating prosperity by connecting people and helping to give visibility to Spanish talent and in Spanish,” he declared.

With this agreement, Iberia partners with the Spanish Basketball Federation in a new Olympic cycle, which includes the men’s and women’s Eurobaskets 2025, the Women’s World Cup Germany 2026, the Men’s World Cup in Qatar 2027 and the Olympic Games. Los Angeles Olympics 2028.
