Real Oviedo has reached an agreement with central defender Oier Luengo, from SD Amorebieta, for the next two seasons.
Trained in the Athletic Bilbao youth academy, Oier Luengo, 24 years old, was born on November 11, 1997 in Amorebieta (Vizcaya). The central defender, 185 centimeters right-handed, arrives from SD Amorebieta where he played 32 games and 2,510 minutes last season. His trajectory until landing in the capital of the Principality took him from the Lezama youth academy, where he even played several friendlies with the first team, to the Biscayan team from which he now comes from.

Oier Luengo will join the first team routine once he passes the relevant medical examination at Clínica Asturias.
The player will not make any statements until his official presentation, which will take place on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in the Carlos Tartiere press room.
