NBA: Atlanta Hawks reportedly trade Kevin Huerter to Sacramento Kings

The Atlanta Hawks have traded Kevin Huerter to the Sacramento Kings for Justin Holiday, Mo Harkless and a future first-round pick, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

The first-round pick is protected for 2024 and would be protected for the top-12 in 2025 and the top-10 in 2026.

Huerter, 23, averaged 12.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 74 games. He was drafted on the 19the rank by the Hawks in 2018.

In 274 career NBA games, he posted game averages of 11.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists.

Holiday is 33 years old. He played 74 games with the Kings and Indiana Pacers last year, averaging 10.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.

Harkless, 29, played 47 games for the Kings in 2021-22, averaging 4.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game.
