Miranda obtained third place in the National Surf

The Mirandina surf team ranked third in the medal table in the Second National Valid of the specialty, an event that took place in La Punta de Los Caracas, La Guaira state.

The aurigris set of boards and waves won a total of five gold medals, four silver and two bronze.

For its part, the state of La Guaira won the championship by accumulating six gold, six silver and four bronze medals.

Meanwhile, the Carabobo team obtained second place by registering five gold, five silver and four bronze medals.

More than 400 athletes from Aragua, Anzoátegui, Capital District, Carabobo, Falcón, La Guaira, Nueva Esparta, Sucre and Miranda were present to demonstrate their skills on the boards and waves, and score points in the national ranking.

Silver in archery

Continuing with Miranda’s participation in various sporting events, Rafael Pérez, from Mirandese, won the silver medal in the Second Valid National Archery Championship, a sporting event that took place at the facilities of the Simón Bolívar Bicentennial Sports Complex in Naguanagua, state Carabobo.

The aurigris athlete obtained the silver award in the Recurve Bow modality, while the representatives of the host entity obtained the gold and bronze medals.

Athletes from the states of Aragua, Lara, Táchira, Yaracuy, Zulia and Miranda participated in the sporting event.
