Inter and Monaco back to back

ASM led 2-0 before seeing the Italian vice-champions come back to their height this Saturday, in a friendly.

Italian club Inter Milan and AS Monaco drew 2-2 (halftime: 2-1 for ASM) in a friendly match on Saturday night at Stade Paolo Mazza in Ferrara, Italy. With a starting line-up laid out in a 3-5-2 formation without rookies Takumi Minamino, who came on at the break, and Breel Embolo, who remained at Monaco, the Principality side quickly led the way.

First, the Russian Aleksandr Golovin, well offset by Wissam Ben Yedder, beat Handanovic from the left (7th). Then the Monegasque captain himself doubled the bet with a nice flick from the left (30th). Subsequently, the Italians returned twice, by Gagliardini before the break (41st) and Asslani, after (59th). After this fifth warm-up match, Monaco remains undefeated, with two wins (Cercle Bruges and Portimonense) and three draws (Saint-Gall, Austria Vienna and Inter Milan).
