Bundesliga comeback by Timo Werner? Bavaria is not interested

With Mathys Tel, Bayern have now signed a center forward who is expected to fill the Lewandowski position in the coming season. Meanwhile, Timo Werner is flirting with a return to the Bundesliga. According to the latest media reports, Munich are not interested in the German international.

The chapter Timo Werner and Chelsea FC could be coming to an end this summer. “Sky” reporter Florian Plettenberg already reported last week that Thomas Tuchel should no longer be convinced of the 26-year-old and is open to a sale. And apparently the player can also imagine leaving – and sees a return to the Bundesliga as the best solution. According to the “Leipziger Volkszeitung”, Werner can imagine a move to RB Leipzig. For Bayern, however, a transfer is out of the question.

Werner is not an issue for Bayern

Florian Plettenberg is said to have learned that Timo Werner is not an issue at Bayern. Tel was therefore the coveted top talent and the last piece of the puzzle in the squad planning for the offensive. According to reports, the 17-year-old youngster has even been assured of playing time. It is also said that the club is also planning to use Choupo-Moting as a striker backup.

Thus, Bayern’s squad planning on the offensive seems to have come to an end. According to media reports, a transfer from Leipzig’s Konrad Laimer is much more likely, but negotiations have been difficult so far.
