2022 AFF U-19 Cup – Goalkeeper Malaysia: Vietnam in a class of its own, Indonesia has been the main enemy for a long time

BOLASPORT.COM – Malaysia U-19 national team goalkeeper, Syahmi Adib assesses that Indonesia has been an enemy for a long time for his team.

Syahmi Adib said he wanted to meet the Vietnam and Indonesia U-19 national teams in the knockout round of the 2022 AFF U-19 Cup.

He judged Vietnam to be in a class of its own.

Meanwhile, Indonesia is Malaysia’s sworn enemy.



“Vietnam is a team in a class of their own, while Indonesia has been the main enemy for a long time,” said Syahmi Adib, reported by BolaSport.com from Arena Metro.

“I am confident with the target of qualifying for the semifinals as determined by the management,” he said.

Meanwhile, another Malaysian U-19 national team player, Abdul Rahmad Daud, believes that the target for the semifinals will be realized.

“The target set to reach the semifinals does not put us under direct pressure because we believe in the team we have,” said Abdul Rahman Daud.
