On Friday night, the festival was held for the “Olympic Day” under the slogan “Together for a World in Peace”. It was a multisport meeting organized by the Undersecretary of Sport and Youth of the Municipality of La Capital.
The “Mario Kokin Aragón” Sports Center was filled with activity with a good number of kids. It was with male and female children’s soccer, the disciplines Beach, Hockey, Judo, Volleyball, Shuffleboard, Artistic Gymnastics, Zumba.
The participants were in charge of a teacher in each discipline where they shared a nice day and at the end of everything they took medals and diplomas.
The “Olympic Day” is June 23 and was celebrated in the province through the Undersecretariat after the request of the Olympic Committee.
The director of Social Sports, Exequiel Díaz Elena, commented: «It is very nice to see the Poli full of people, of all ages and enjoying with the teachers who do a great job as well as everyone who does their part so that the Poli be in these conditions.”
While the teacher Iris Bustamante, said: «The Poli is open to everyone and these types of activities are nice. We celebrate the Olympic day where the idea is to encourage the habit of physical activity and have a better quality of life. The Olympic Committee commissioned us to do this to instill the values in the sport.”
