The Municipal Covered Pavilion `Rubén Ruzafa´ in Rincón de la Victoria hosts the I Judo Tournament with the participation of some 200 boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 12 from the province.
The championship will consist of exhibition combats in groups of four with the objective that the participants can demonstrate the techniques learned during the course of an initiation technical level (white, yellow and orange belt). There will be trophies for all participants.
The tournament will take place on the indoor track of the sports facilities for the categories of mini-youngest, pre-youngest, youngest, and fry. The participating schools and clubs are: the Municipal Judo School of Rincón de la Victoria through the Arias de Judo Club, the University Club of Málaga, the Maravillas de Benalmádena school, the British School of Malaga, the Municipal Sports Board of Benalmádena and the CEIP Nuestra Señora de la Luz de Málaga.
The celebration hours will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and tickets to attend as an audience are free.
The Rincón de la Victoria Municipal Judo School has 65 students in its first year with classes that are taught in the Municipal Covered Pavilion from Monday to Thursday for all ages.
